Cut duration of animated GIF
This tool lets you cut the duration of animated GIF images. You can remove the beginning or end of the GIF, or cut out the middle part.
You can either specify the cut duration in seconds or enter the exact frame numbers where you want the GIF to be cut.
If you want to cut image dimensions instead of runtime length, you should use our crop tool instead. Or, if you need finer control of each frame, you can remove selected frames or edit frame duration manually with the GIF maker.
Please note that cutting a GIF file by time may not always be precisely accurate. In such cases, we will try to find the closest frame to the entered time. However, if there is no exact match, we will round it to the next frame while keeping frame delays unchanged.

Crop animated images (GIF, APNG, WebP, AVIF)
A simple online tool for cropping and slicing animated GIF, WebP, AVIF and PNG images.
Just upload the GIF and use your mouse or trackpad to select the part of the image you want to crop/trim.
You can also fill in the desired dimensions (in pixels) manually.
You can select one of the predefined aspect ratios: square, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, 2:1, golden ratio, or freely select the area you want to crop.
It also features the Autocrop option, for trimming off transparent pixels around the image.
Extend canvas size button can be used to add transparent area around the image.
If there seem to be any problems with the output GIF file (missing frames/strange artifacts/flickering), try to select a different option under the «Crop with» dropdown. There may be differences, depending on the compression used for the source image. More about this problem.
The cropped image will generally have a smaller file size than the original unless you select the coalesce option which may undo previous optimizations and increase file size. So It’s generally advised to avoid this option unless you experience problems with the quality of the output GIF.
In addition to GIFs, this tool can also be used to crop animated WebP, AVIF and animated PNG (APNG) files or any other images, photos, and illustrations.

GIF frame extractor (splitter)
This online tool is designed to convert animated images into a equence of images to edit or view them separately.
GIF explode tool, splitter, decompiler — call it whatever you want. It can extract individual frames from various animated image formats such as Animated GIF, APNG, WebP, FLIF, AVIF, and MNG.
After decompressing the GIF file, you can download specific frames (right-click the image and select Save image as. ) or save them all at once as a single zip file by clicking «Download frames as ZIP archive.»
If you want to rearrange frame order or remove some frames and restore animation, click the «Edit animation» button. It will take you to the GIF maker window. You can also download the ZIP file, edit some frames in the image editor of your choice and then upload a new ZIP archive back to GIF maker. If you keep the file names unchanged, it will preserve the frame order and duration.
