The ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA) provides significant technical underpinning to the calibration, testing, medical testing and inspection results, provision of proficiency testing programs and production of the reference materials of the accredited conformity assessment bodies that in turn delivers confidence in the acceptance of services and results.
The ILAC MRA supports the provision of local or national services, such as providing safe food and clean drinking water, providing energy, delivering health and social care or maintaining an unpolluted environment.
In addition, the ILAC MRA enhances the acceptance of products across national borders. By removing the need for additional calibration, testing, medical testing and/or inspection of imports and exports, technical barriers to trade are reduced. In this way the ILAC MRA promotes international trade and the free-trade goal of “accredited once, accepted everywhere” can be realized.
How it works
The ILAC MRA links the existing regional MRAs/MLAs of the Recognised Regional Cooperation Bodies. For the purposes of the ILAC MRA, and based on ILAC’s evaluation and recognition of the regional MRAs/MLAs, ILAC delegates authority to its Recognised Regional Cooperation Bodies for the evaluation, surveillance, re-evaluation and associated decision making relating to the signatory status of the accreditation bodies that are ILAC Full Members (ILAC MRA signatories).
The accreditation bodies that are signatories to the ILAC MRA have been peer evaluated in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17011 to demonstrate their competence. The ILAC MRA Signatory Search provides a current list of all accreditation bodies that are signatories to the ILAC MRA, including their contact details, the scope of their recognition and the initial date of signing the ILAC MRA. This list of ILAC MRA signatories can be printed by clicking on the red printer button on the signatory search page. Alternatively, the PDF version of the list of ILAC MRA signatories is also available for download.
The ILAC MRA signatories then assess and accredit conformity assessment bodies according to the relevant international standards including calibration laboratories (using ISO/IEC 17025), testing laboratories (using ISO/IEC 17025), medical testing laboratories (using ISO 15189), inspection bodies (using ISO/IEC 17020), proficiency testing providers (using ISO/IEC 17043) and reference material producers (using ISO 17034). The ILAC MRA signatories agree to accept the results of each other’s accredited conformity assessment bodies under the ILAC MRA. Hence, the results from the conformity assessment bodies accredited by the ILAC MRA signatories are able to be recognised internationally. In many cases, a link to the accreditation body’s online directory of accredited facilities is also provided in the ILAC MRA Signatory Search.
Using the signatory search and the accredited facilities directories, regulators and consumers can locate laboratories, inspection bodies, proficiency testing providers or reference material producers that are accredited for the specific calibrations, tests, inspections, provision of proficiency testing programs or production of reference material required, as well as the contact details of these facilities, thereby ensuring the service and results will be accepted under the ILAC MRA. Organisations can also host the ILAC MRA signatory search on their website by copying the code.
The ILAC MRA Annual Report provides information on the activities carried out as part of the peer evaluation process each year to ensure that regulators and consumers of laboratory and inspection data, proficiency testing programs and reference materials are able to maintain confidence in the services and results produced under the ILAC MRA.

Знак ILAC MRA зарегистрирован как международный товарный знак и принадлежит Международной организации по аккредитации лабораторий (ILAC). Данный знак разработан для целей продвижения Соглашения о взаимном признании ILAC (ILAC MRA) и создания условий для признания результатов аккредитации, охватываемых областью Соглашения ILAC MRA.
Белорусский государственный центр аккредитации (БГЦА), являясь подписантом Соглашения ILAC MRA в сферах испытаний и калибровки, получил разрешение со стороны ILAC на применение знака ILAC MRA при аккредитации испытательных и калибровочных лабораторий .
Таким образом, испытательные и калибровочные лаборатории , аккредитованные БГЦА, могут направить запрос на применение знака ILAC MRA в составе комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта для демонстрации того, что их компетентность подтверждена органом по аккредитации-подписантом Соглашения ILAC MRA.
Комбинированный знак ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта — знак ILAC MRA, применяемый в комбинации со знаком аккредитации, выданным аккредитованному субъекту органом по аккредитации в рамках Национальной системы аккредитации Республики Беларусь. Не допускается применение аккредитованными субъектами знака ILAC MRA отдельно от знака аккредитации!
Для получения комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта испытательная (калибровочная) лаборатория должна:
- Заполнить и подписать заявление на выдачу комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта.
- Заполнить и подписать два экземпляра Соглашения по применению комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта (дата не заполняется).
- Направить заполненные и подписанные заявление и два экземпляра Соглашения в адрес БГЦА: 220033, г. Минск, ул.Велозаводская, д.6.
После подписания Соглашения по применению комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта со стороны БГЦА в адрес заявителя направляется разрешение на применение комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта по электронной почте, указанной в заявлении на выдачу знака.
Не допускается применение комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта до подписания с БГЦА Соглашения по применению комбинированного знака ILAC MRA аккредитованного субъекта!

Испытательный центр ФБУ «Ростест-Москва» получил право использования комбинированного знака ILAC MRA на выдаваемых протоколах испытаний в рамках действующей области аккредитации.
Знак ILAC MRA является зарегистрированным международным знаком, принадлежащим Международной организации по аккредитации лабораторий (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation – ILAC).
Комбинированный знак ILAC MRA, расположенный на протоколе испытаний, повышает доверие к продукции и производителю при реализации за рубежом, и указывает на то, что он выдан лабораторией, чья аккредитация имеет международное признание.
Использование комбинированного знака ILAC MRA свидетельствует о выполнении Испытательным центром ФБУ «Ростест-Москва» требований и условий соглашений и договоренностей, заключенных Федеральной службой по аккредитации с органами по аккредитации иностранных государств, международными организациями по аккредитации и иными, действующими в сфере оценки соответствия, иностранными организациями.
Tested once — recognized worldwide
The testing center of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Rostest-Moscow» has received the right to use the combined ILAC MRA mark on the issued test reports within the current scope of accreditation. The ILAC MRA mark is a registered international mark belonging to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). The combined ILAC MRA mark located on the test report increases the credibility of the product and the manufacturer when sold abroad, and indicates that it was issued by a laboratory whose accreditation is internationally recognized.
The use of the combined ILAC MRA sign indicates that the Rostest-Moscow Testing Center fulfills the requirements and conditions of agreements and agreements concluded by the Federal Accreditation Service with accreditation bodies of foreign states, international accreditation organizations and other foreign organizations operating in the field of conformity assessment.
ILAC MRA Mark is registered as a word/device mark and is owned by ILAC.
