Coil-Head
Coil-Heads, also known as Spring Men and Mannequins, are tall, humanoid entities in Lethal Company. They are eyeless mannequins with agape mouths, no forearms and a flexible spring for a neck. Their bodies are punctured with nails, surrounded by what seems to be a reddish substance. Coil-Heads are difficult to counter when alone, more especially if you’re dealing with another harmful entity at the same time.
Though fast and deadly, they can only move and attack when not looked at by Employees.

Bestiary [ ]
Vir colligerus, or colloquially named Coil-heads, have not been studied extensively due to their extreme unpredictability and dangerous properties. They have been known to combust into flames when being dissected or even deactivated, and they carry dangerously high levels of radioactive particles. Due to this and other reasons, it has been highly speculated they were created as biological weapons of war, although this has not been proven. Coil-heads’ visual appearance is that of a bloody mannequin with its head connected by a spring. Their defining behavioral characteristic is to stop when being looked at. However, this does not appear to be a hard-and-fast rule. When they encounter a loud noise or bright light they sometimes appear to enter a long reset mode.

Strategy [ ]
Coil-Heads cannot be killed. However, their inability to move or attack when looked at is a significant weakness.
- Stun grenades can temporarily disable them for a short while, allowing for a safe escape if alone.
- DIY-Flashbangs can achieve the same result, though will hurt the user.
- This is useful for repositioning the Coil-Heads to allow escape, such as if they are blocking a doorway.
- With the right camera positioning, it is also possible to use an exit while having a Coil-Head in sight.
- This is also useful if the player needs more freedom to navigate around other enemies.
- The same doors can be reused by luring the Coil-Head back if more time is needed.
- Due to this feature, it is possible to escape from Coil-Head simply by walking far enough from it while maintaining eye contact on it, given there is a long enough hallway to escape through. Escaping via this method will also prevent the Coil-Head from tracking the player as they have wandered too far away from their range of detection, causing them to return to patrolling. Furthermore, the Coil-Head will only be able to move once eye contact is broken, even if players wander out of the range of detection.
- If a player spots a Coil-Head during patrol while being out of its range of detection, it will remain in patrol mode and continue to move, regardless of being watched or not.
Notes [ ]
- Employees killed by Coil-Heads will have their forearms instantly removed and necks replaced by springs as their heads are launched off their body and disappear [1] , mimicking the entity’s appearance. This leaves anyone carrying the deceased employee susceptible to lightning strikes when on a stormy moon.
- A Coil-Head’s head will continue to bobble back and forth when the rest of it is locked in place.

Описание [ ]
Кожа Лампоголового серая. Её толщина позволяет пережить укусы или царапины других агрессивных существ. Его кожа может служить химической защитой, поскольку репелленты от паразитов придают существу характерный запах.

Лампоголовый, несмотря на своё имя, на самом деле не имеет головы. Его «голова» представляет собой смесь множества неизвестных веществ, которые практически невозможно уничтожить. Его «фонарь» излучает свет, отличный от обычной биолюминесценции, но напоминающий газоразрядную лампу высокой интенсивности, которую можно увидеть в современных уличных фонарях.
«Лампочка» существа имеет множество применений. Она может служить в качестве защиты, или маскировки. «Лампочка» может быстро мигать и дезориентировать жертву, а при прямом зрительном контакте может даже ослепить.

- Тревор заявил, что это может быть подвид или просто другая форма Siren Head.
